For more than two decades, my world revolved around sales management, business development, and leading teams across South Africa's corporate landscape. I thrived in fast-paced environments—designing growth strategies, managing key accounts, implementing Lean systems, and driving performance. Those years shaped me: they sharpened my strategic thinking, strengthened my leadership style, and instilled a deep commitment to continuous learning.

The Turning Point

But in 2019, something shifted. After years of mentoring colleagues, training teams, and presenting to clients, I realised that the part of my work I enjoyed most was the human element: helping others develop clarity, confidence, and capability. With that insight, I stepped into a new chapter—teaching.

Teaching with Purpose at LET Plus

Today, I teach Business English with LET (Learning English Today), working remotely with professionals and corporate clients across Europe and the United States. My student base is wonderfully diverse, including engineers from UAS Germany and French Petrochemical giants, professionals from BFS Minneapolis, and tech specialists from Oracle Spain. Each brings their own industry expertise into the classroom, transforming lessons into meaningful exchanges of experience and perspective.

Real-World Experience Meets Teaching Excellence

What makes this work so fulfilling is that it doesn't feel separate from my corporate past - it feels, rather, like the natural evolution thereof. Every lesson I deliver is grounded in real-world experience: negotiating with clients, leading sales teams, managing large accounts, and guiding organisations through operational change. Instead of teaching theory, I teach communication as it exists in boardrooms, project meetings, strategic discussions, and cross-functional teams.

My ongoing Business Administration studies, where I've maintained President's List status, keep me academically sharp while reinforcing my passion for lifelong growth.
