Michael Roe
Managing Director & Head Teacher
I am a qualified TEFL teacher with over 15 years of global experience. As a British Council expert in Trinity, FCE, and IELTS exams, I bring a global perspective to language learning. I've taught English at both corporate and academic levels, one-on-one and in larger groups, across England, Germany, South Africa, Venezuela, Brazil, India, Turkey, and Spain. I am also completing my DELTA (Master’s equivalent in TEFL) by the end of the year.
Ali Slim
Middle-East Co-Founder
I am fluent in Arabic and English, with experience living in London, Kuwait, and now Lebanon. My expertise lies in interior and exterior lighting, home automation design, trading, and sales execution. I have hands-on experience in CCTV implementation and programming, as well as a background in customer service, public relations, restaurant management, and team leadership. I’ve also worked as a social work volunteer and trained youth groups under UNDP programs. Holding a Technical Bachelor's in Electronics and Communications, I’m also a singer, songwriter, and composer. I love traveling, learning languages, making friends from diverse cultures, cooking, and enjoying life.

I am an experienced executive director, business improvement leader, and executive coach. I have worked for, and been retained by, international blue chip companies, public and private organisations and Small to Medium size Enterprises. I have designed, implemented and mentored leaders in successful business development programmes across services industries in Europe including the Language Sector. In addition to my role on the LET board I provide business consulting services to LET's corporate 'Business English' clients.

I am a French woman living in Spain since 1998, passionate about supporting people on their life journeys. Joining the LET Spanish team excites me, as I believe in making a positive impact through languages. My work philosophy centers around building bridges between businesses, fostering kind relationships, and contributing my best to business development.

I am French, with a background in commerce and solid experience in management and regional responsibility. I spent seven years in Sudan as an expatriate, where I founded several associations, before continuing my journey in Mali.
Today, I am settled in Spain and delighted to be part of the LET team. I am passionate about life, joy, fraternity, and positivity.

As a former LET student turned team member, I now manage administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication with students. With four years of office experience in Ukraine, I bring expertise in logistics, customer service, and market analysis. After a career break, I'm excited to restart my journey with LET. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring history through reading and museum visits, while remaining dedicated to the success of both our students and the team.

I am a French native living in Spain. I've been part of the LET family since the beginning, starting out as a teacher and now being responsible for the administration of LET Spain. I serve as the link between teachers and students, managing the organization of lessons and timetables, and handling administrative tasks.
