Student Agreement

1. Appointment and Programme

1.1 This agreement confirms the appointment of Learning English Today Ltd

(hereafter referred to as “LET’) as the School or the Organisation to:

(hereafter referred to as” the student or participant” in the European Union to carry out agreed English Tuition services, details of which are attached as Schedule 1 to this document as (“the services”) in accordance with the terms of this Agreement, including the Standard Terms of Business attached.

2. Commencement and Duration of the Agreement

2.1 This agreement will commence now at the time of reading and for a period of one year, unless terminated sooner under the provision of clause 8 of the Agreement. After this period, it will continue in effect until terminated under the provision of clause 8.

3. LET’s Obligations

3.1 The School agrees with the student during the term of this Agreement:

a) at all times to provide, protect and foresee the interests of the student; 

b) at all times to supply a high quality and reliable service to the student;

c) in all matters to act professionally and loyally to the program provided to the student;

d) to participate fully to the evolvement of the student through providing proper education;

e) and to elaborate, design and distribute quality materials in advance to the student to follow up classes.

4. The Student’s Obligations

4.1 The student agrees with the School during the term of this Agreement:

a) to provide the right information and documentation requested by the School to pursue enrolling the student to the programme;

b) to offer a minimum of 3 days and timing frame that suits the participant for tuition;

c) not to miss pre-arranged slots of booked classes without any reliable excuses unless unforeseen circumstances;

d) to notify the school of attendance cancellation at least 24 hours in advance previously to the session;

e) to enter the classroom on time or not later than 10 mins after the class beginnings or access will be denied;

f) to follow teacher’s instruction during tuition accordingly to the tasks required with the best of the student knowledge and dedication;

g) to work in a mutual and reciprocal environment respecting other fellow participant;

h) and to encourage, include and allow other student to participate to the class equally.      

5. Approval by the Student

5.1 The expression “Written Approval” in this agreement including the Terms of Business shall mean written approval by the participant.

5.2 The student should notify the school in writing of any change occurring during the term of the Agreement.

5.3 The school shall not be responsible for any delay or cancelation in the performance of the service resulting from the unavailability of external factors such as the Internet provider system glitches in either at the student or teachers ends, and/or at occasion for faulty videoconferences operating system.  

6. Fees Payable

6.1 The administration service fee, exclusive of VAT, and based on database management and administrative time in the EU, will be charged at the flat rate in one single payment of €20 only.

6.2 The operating service fee, exclusive of VAT, and based on 1 hour (60mins) of learning English session with a qualified TEFL teacher in an online classroom which is subcontracted by LET organisation and arrange by such for the purpose of Teaching English as a Foreign Language. The fee accordingly to the above service varies from €15/h up to €18/h depending on how many hours you are having per week. It must be purchased by a trunk of a minimum of 4. This is for the equivalent of 1hour per week of online English tuition.

  

7. Payment Terms

7.1 The administration service fee of €20 will be invoiced via email and should be paid in full in advance of the registration.

7.2 The first operating service fee of a minimum of which allows 4 full hours of tuition will be invoiced via email and paid in advance of the registration and at the same time than the administration service fee.

7.3 This written approval must be signed and the minimum payment to services paid in full by the participant to allow the program to start.

8. Termination

8.1 This Agreement may be terminated by the participant at any time after the initial period of three months but giving not less than one month written notice to the school.

8.2 If payments are not made by the participant in accordance to clause 6.2 of this Agreement. The student will not have access to the classroom until such payments are made. If the participant does not remedy the breach within 14 days of written notice to do so, the school will have the right to terminate the Agreement immediately by notice in writing to that effect.

8.3 This Agreement may be terminated by the school at any time without notice if the participant is in breach with clause 4.1 d-e-f

8.4 Either party may terminate the Agreement immediately upon writing notice to the other in the event of: 

a) any material breach of the Agreement by either party, which breach is not remedied

(if capable of remedy within the time frame allocated in clause 8.2).

b) any unforeseen circumstances that make either party insolvent.

9. Data Protection Act 2018

a) Our commitment to you

 LET is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your details and personal information to our administration is completely secured. Once the information is in our system, it is accessible to authorised LET member of staff only. We strictly enforce our privacy policies with our employees and any breach of this policy will result in immediate termination of the “Agreement” that we have signed with them. LET do not share any of your private data or information with any organisations. 

 

b) How we use your Personal Information

Your personal information will be used in order to provide you with the requested products and services. This includes the use of information for completing transactions or communicating back to you. Credit card numbers, IBAN or PayPal information are used only for payment processing and are not used for any other purpose.

Schedule 1 Standard Terms of Business

form an integral part of this Agreement and should be attached to it. 

The Service Schedule 1 means:

1) LET provides a full assessment to every new student.

2) LET evaluates the English level of every single student.

3) LET orients students to groups per level.

4) LET offers quality online teaching with a qualified teacher.

5) LET delivers on students need and train them accordingly.

6) LET’s program is focusing on developing student knowledge to English Language.

7) LET is focusing on 4 skills (Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening).

8) LET provides several types of learning methods.

9) LET provides digital teaching material.

10) LET delivers a certification to every student for accomplishment of their course.
