What is the CPF?
The CPF allows any person, employee, or jobseeker, to follow a training course on their own initiative. It supports its holder from entry into professional life, throughout his career until retirement. The Personal Training Account is credited in hours at the end of each year, within the limit of 150 hours of training over 8 years.
For people working full time, it is supplied with:
• 24 hours per year for the first 5 years, i.e. 120 hours;
• then 12 hours per year for 3 years, to reach the maximum ceiling of 150 hours.
For the employee working part-time, the hours credited are calculated in proportion to the time worked. Periods of absence related to maternity, paternity and childcare leave, adoption, parental presence, family support, parental education leave are taken into account in the hours’ calculation. Or to an occupational disease and an accident at work.
The training hours entered in the account remain vested in the event of a change in professional situation or loss of employment.
